This 245,500 square-foot resort will have an impressive medieval theme that will include a grand welcome from a massive fire breathing dragon!
From the outside you will feel as if you stepped back in time with the unique stonework, gothic windows, and torches. On the inside you will be immersed into a magical world with another dragon, a lobby pond, a 9,000 square foot family entertainment center, that has been described as a “super arcade”! Guests can be immersed in the magical world with the use of virtual reality headsets to go on an interactive quest throughout the resort. The guest experiences continue with the pools, hot tubs, swim up bars, and an event space that is second to none.
The resort sits atop one of the area’s many natural bluffs but is still wrapped in trees and you will see many natural elements throughout the extravagant décor. With the use of podium construction, well placed firewalls, and a great understanding of how to use the building code to the project’s advantage, we were able to push the limits of the wood framed structure in both allowable area and height.
