A 100-Year Vision
When the Village of Windsor first began planning their new administration building, they gave us a challenge: to create a building that would last 100 years. They wanted a sustainable investment for taxpayers that would serve as the foundation for a brand-new downtown hub.
Bridging History and Innovation
To meet this goal, our team selected Wisconsin native stone veneer and a heavy masonry structure. These materials were chosen for their durability and low maintenance, ensuring the building remains a cornerstone of the village for generations.
A blend of historical and contemporary detailing that honors local tradition while looking toward the future. The modern entries and high central spaces that transform a municipal building into a gathering place where citizens can truly connect with their local government. A design that fits seamlessly into the surrounding neighborhood while setting a high standard for future development in the new Windsor downtown area.
