The Renaissance Hotel was a victim of the Great Recession and had stood partially completed and idle for years within the InterQuest Marketplace retail center on the far north side of Colorado Springs. Great Wolf Resorts recognized the potential of both the location and the facility to become a year-round, family-themed resort and acquired the property. An assessment of the building condition was surprisingly favorable. Fortunately, the facility had been well maintained and secured while vacant, thus mitigating many of the typical challenges of rehabilitating an abandoned structure. Redesign and reimagining of the property moved ahead quickly for the conversion of a once-intended full-service hotel into a cutting-edge, amenities-rich waterpark resort.

Always with an eye to ROI and guest satisfaction, ADCI staff crafted a conversion that maximizes usage of the existing building and property footprint while also allowing for potential future expansion of both the hotel and waterpark. Having worked with Great Wolf Resorts for years, ADCI architects understand "Great Wolf hospitality" and how that is most effectively translated into building features, design and ambiance. Showcasing stunning mountain views, incorporating the latest in resort features and capturing the "spirit of the wolf" were top priorities for the architects and interior designers. The result is a fun-filled family adventure destination that offers shopping, dining, recreation and relaxation under one roof.

  • All-suite hotel
  • Thrills-galore indoor waterpark
  • Indoor family entertainment center including miniature golf, mini bowling, arcade, climbing wall and ropes course
